- - All international applicants whose primary native language is not English and who attend a non-English speaking secondary school must submit a score report from TOEFL, IELTS, or another English test certificate. A minimum score of 80 on the TOEFL or 6.0 on the IELTS is recommended.
- Applicants must meet the requirements set forth in Document No. 12 (2020) by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China:
- - If the applicant's parent(s) were Chinese citizens residing abroad at the time of the applicant's birth, the applicant must have obtained their current foreign citizenship before April 30, 2022. Additionally, the applicant must have lived outside China for at least 2 years between April 30, 2022, and April 30, 2026.
- - Emigrants from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan applying as international students must also have obtained their current foreign citizenship before April 30, 2022, and must have lived outside China for at least 2 years during the period between April 30, 2022, and April 30, 2026.
- Applicants must provide CSCA exam results, with Mathematics as a compulsory subject and either Physics or Chemistry as an elective subject.
