Admission Requirements
  • Applicants must be in good health and of good character, respect Chinese habits and customs, and abide by both Chinese laws and regulations as well as the university’s rules and regulations.
  • Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding a foreign passport and be under 50 years old (Date of Birth must be after August 31, 1973).
  • Applicants for a Master’s Degree should possess a degree equivalent to or above a Bachelor’s degree from a Chinese university.
  • Language proficiency requirements for Chinese-taught programs are as follows:
  • • For Chinese-taught Master’s programs:
  • • School of International Chinese Language Education: A minimum of 220 points in HSK 6 and 65 points in HSKK Advanced level.
  • • School of Chinese Language and Literature: A minimum of 210 points in HSK 5.
  • • Other Departments: A minimum of 195 points in HSK 5.
  • After passing the initial review, applicants must mail the paper application documents by February 25, 2024. To ensure timely delivery, it is recommended to contact counselor@cucas.cn.
