Program Overview

The Radio and Television Editor program prepares students for careers in media production, focusing on editing techniques and storytelling through audio-visual content. Students will gain practical skills and theoretical knowledge to thrive in the fast-paced media industry.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years old and under 25 years old. They must be non-Chinese citizens in good physical and mental health, holding valid foreign passports in accordance with the Nationality Law of the People’s Republic of China.
If one or both parents are Chinese citizens who have settled abroad, and the applicant possesses foreign nationality at birth, they do not possess Chinese nationality. As a foreign student applicant, they must meet the provisions of the Notice of the Ministry of Education on Regulating Work Related to the Acceptance of Foreign Students by Domestic Colleges and Universities (JWH [2020] No. 12).
Applicants must have a minimum of a high school degree with good academic records.
Language Proficiency Requirements:
For majors taught in Chinese:
• Applicants must score 180 or above on HSK Level 5 or provide other equivalent certificates of Chinese language proficiency recognized by Sichuan University.
• Applicants whose highest degree was obtained through a program taught in Chinese may provide a certificate demonstrating that the program was taught in Chinese instead of an HSK certificate.
• For the undergraduate program in Chinese Language, an HSK certificate is not required.
For Liberal Arts programs (Chinese-taught), a CSCA score report covering both Chinese Language and Mathematics is required.
