- Applicants must be in good health and of good character. They should respect Chinese habits and customs, and abide by both Chinese laws and regulations as well as the university’s rules and regulations.
- Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding a foreign passport and be under 50 years old (Date of Birth after August 31, 1973). Note for Chinese Government Scholarship applicants:
- - Master’s degree applicants must be under 35 years old (Date of Birth after August 31, 1988).
- - Doctoral degree applicants must be under 40 years old (Date of Birth after August 31, 1983).
- Applicants for a Master’s Degree must possess a degree equivalent to or above a Bachelor’s degree from a Chinese university.
- - Applicants for a Doctoral Degree must possess a degree equivalent to or above a Master’s degree from a Chinese university.
- Language proficiency requirements for Chinese-taught programs are as follows:
