- Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding a foreign passport and be under 50 years old (Date of Birth must be after August 31, 1973). Note for Chinese Government Scholarship applicants:
- - Master’s degree applicants must be under 35 years old (Date of Birth must be after August 31, 1988).
- - Doctoral degree applicants must be under 40 years old (Date of Birth must be after August 31, 1983).
- Applicants for a Master’s Degree must possess a degree equivalent to or above a Bachelor’s degree from a Chinese university.
- Applicants for a Doctoral Degree must possess a degree equivalent to or above a Master’s degree from a Chinese university.
- Language proficiency requirements for Chinese-taught programs are as follows:
- - For Chinese-taught Ph.D. programs:
- A. School of International Chinese Language Education: 240 points and above in HSK 6 and 65 points and above in HSKK Advanced level.
- B. School of Chinese Language and Literature: 210 points and above in HSK 5.
- C. Other Departments: 195 points and above in HSK 5.
- After passing the initial review, applicants must mail the paper application documents by February 25, 2024. To ensure timely delivery of materials, it is recommended to contact counselor@cucas.cn.
