- Applicants must hold a valid foreign passport or nationality certificates for four years or above and have an actual overseas residential record for at least two years over the last four years (by the end of April 30th of the year of entry). Applicants of Master Degree Programs shall be under the age of 35 and hold a Bachelor's Degree or higher degree. Applicants shall attain at least 65 percent or equivalent grade in all subjects, admission of the best applicants. Applicants of Chinese-medium programs shall have an adequate command of Chinese language: Applicants of programs of science, engineering, economics, law, management, education and arts instructed in the Chinese language must attain a score of 180 on the HSK4 (Chinese Proficiency Test Level Four); applicants of programs of literature, history and philosophy instructed in the Chinese language must attain a score of 180 on the HSK5.
