Classical and modern physics, quantum mechanics.
Applicants must submit a notarized copy of their high school diploma, issued by the graduating institution. This document is required to verify eligibility for undergraduate-level study.
High school graduation certificate with an official translation if the original document is not issued in English or Chinese.
Official high school transcript (translated if needed).
Applicants must provide proof of language proficiency meeting one of the following minimum requirements: IELTS: 6.0 or above TOEFL: 85 or above Duolingo: 110 or above or other language certificates recognized by BIT. Applicants whose native language is English are exempt from submitting an English language proficiency certificate.
Notarial Certificate of Guardian
A notarized document confirming the student’s legal guardian in China. Required after pre-admission.
Personal Statement / Study Plan
Applicants must submit a Personal Statement or Study Plan using the official template titled “BIT International Student Personal Statement”.
Physical Examination Form
Foreigner Physical Examination Form completed by a licensed physician
A Financial Guarantee Letter, such as a bank savings certificate, demonstrating sufficient financial capacity to support tuition fees and living expenses.

Applicants may be required to attend an interview and/or examination as part of the admission assessment.
Supporting documents that demonstrate the applicant’s exceptional performance in academics, sports, the arts, cultural exchange activities, public welfare, or related fields. Examples include certificates, awards, competition results, publications, or participation records. Applicants to design-related majors must additionally submit a minimum of two original artworks.

Birth Certificate with Certified Chinese Translation
Applicants born after 25 August 2008 date must submit an official birth certificate that includes complete parental information. The parents’ names on the birth certificate must exactly match the names shown on their passports or national ID cards. A certified Chinese translation of the birth certificate is required for verification and compliance purposes.

China Scholastic Competency Assessment (CSCA) Transcript:
An official record of the applicant’s CSCA exam results. If the transcript has not yet been issued, the applicant must submit valid proof of CSCA exam registration as a temporary document. The official transcript must be provided once available.

Parents’ Identification Documents
Applicants born after 25 August 2008 must submit a photocopy of the front page of their parents’ passports or their parents’ national ID cards. This is required for identity verification and parental consent.

Certificate of no criminal record from home country
Guardian Letter
A Guardian Letter is required. This document is used to indicate the applicant’s guardian arrangements during the period of study and may be requested as part of the application or enrollment process.
