- (Ⅰ) Basic Requirements
- 1. Non-Chinese citizens in good health.
- 2. Applicants for undergraduate programmes: Aged 18 to 40 years, must have graduated from high school or possess an equivalent level of education.
- 3. Applicants who are immigrants from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan and have obtained foreign nationality, or whose parents (either one or both) are Chinese citizens and have settled abroad, and who had foreign nationality at the time of birth, must meet the following conditions to apply as international students to SLU: they must have held a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for at least four years (inclusive), and have lived abroad for more than two years in the last four years (before April 30, 2026). (For the purposes of calculation, if an applicant has lived abroad for nine months or more in a year, it will be counted as one year, based on entry and exit stamps).

- Applicants for English-taught programmes must meet one of the following English proficiency requirements:

- IELTS score of 6.0 or higher, Duolingo score of 110, TOEFL score of 80 or higher, or an equivalent level of English proficiency..
