- Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or its equivalent, with a strong academic record, and be under the age of 35 when applying for a master's program.
- For English-taught programs, applicants are required to have a minimum score of 85 in the TOEFL, an overall band of 6.0 in the IELTS, or a score of 110 in the Duolingo English Test. Alternatively, other language certificates recognized by Beijing Institute of Technology may be submitted. Native English speakers are exempt from this requirement.
- Applicants to the MBA program must have at least one year of relevant work or internship experience.
