  • Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport and meet the conditions set by Document No. 12 (2020) of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.
  • Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 22 and have attained a senior high school diploma.
  • Applicants must be in good physical and mental health, demonstrate proper moral conduct, and have a friendly attitude towards China.
  • Applicants whose native language is not English must submit an English proficiency certificate obtained within the last two years. Acceptable certificates include:
  • - TOEFL: a score of 90 or above
  • - IELTS: a score of 6 or above
  • - Duolingo: a score of 105 or above
  • - Proof of all courses taught in English issued by the high school or another recognized English proficiency certificate.
