A Chinese emigrant applying to study in Ningxia University must hold a valid foreign passport or nationality certificate for at least 4 years, and in addition, the applicant must have a record of living abroad for more than two years within last four years(before April 30th of the application year).

- 4. Applicants for bachelor's degree in Chinese Language and Literature (International Chinese Language Education Direction) should have the new HSK level 4 and the score should be above 180 points.
