- Applicants must be high school graduates or above and qualified to apply for university. Non-Chinese citizens must possess a valid foreign passport and be in good health. They must also observe Chinese laws and regulations of the Beijing Institute of Technology.
- Applicants must be aged between 18 and 25. Those under 18 must provide a certificate from a guardian who has Beijing residency.
- Applicants must comply with the regulations (JW〔2020〕 No. 12) issued by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.
- A valid report of Chinese or English language proficiency tests is required. For programs taught in Chinese, a minimum score of HSK5 ≥ 180 is necessary.
