  • Applicants shall be non-Chinese citizens with good conduct and with no criminal records and in good health both physically and psychologically, excellent in academic performance, friendly to China and abide by the laws of the People's Republic of China and the discipline and regulations of Kunming Medical University. To apply as international students in undergraduate and graduate programs, Chinese immigrants in other countries shall present the valid passport or citizenship documents issued at least 4 years before, and have lived at least 2 years(with 9 months being considered as one year, subject to the entry-exit stamp on passports) in foreign countries in last 4 years(counting to 30th April each year).
  • Academic and age requirements
  • Applicants for doctoral degree programs must hold a Master's degree with similar majors, and those who graduated from non-Chinese universities must hold a master's degree from a university accredited by the Ministry of Education of China and be from 20-45 years of age.
  • Language proficiency requirements
  • Applicants for Chinese medium programs shall have the ability to join the professional studies in Chinese and bear the certificate of HSK4 Chinese proficiency or above.
