Basic of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a Master program offered at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine for international students.

- Applicants must be citizens of a country other than the People’s Republic of China and be in good health, both mentally and physically.
- Academic Requirements:
- For admission to a Master’s program, applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent and be under the age of 35 at the time of application.
- For admission to a doctoral program, applicants must hold a Master’s degree or its equivalent and be under the age of 40 at the time of application.
- Documentation Requirements:
- Graduates-to-be are required to provide a pre-graduation certificate issued by their universities to demonstrate that they will successfully graduate and obtain their graduation certificate before August of the same year of admission.
- Language Proficiency Requirements:
- For applicants to a Chinese language teaching major, proficiency in Chinese is required. Specifically, applicants must have passed the HSK (Level 4) with a score of 180 points or above when applying for a Chinese-taught program.
- Applicants who have obtained a Chinese-taught degree from Chinese universities are not required to provide an HSK certificate.
