Business Economics is a PhD program offered at Renmin University of China for international students.

  • The applicant should hold a valid ordinary passport and shall not have Chinese nationality.
  • S/he shall be physically and mentally healthy.
  • S/he shall not be older than 45 years old in principle, and shall have acquired a degree equivalent to a China's master's degree in China.
  • Ph.D.
  • applicants who have acquired a master's degree or one superior with the instruction language being Chinese at a university located in China, they can submit the original copy of the certificate of instruction language issued by the university, and do not need to submit the HSK and HSKK report.
  • An HSK Level 6 report is required.
  • The total score shall be no lower than 180 points, with each sub-category no lower than 60 points.
  • In addition, an HSKK (Advanced level) report with the score no lower than 60 points is required.
  • The reports shall be sent out by Chinese Testing International Co., Ltd.
  • to RUC directly.
  • Reports sent by the applicants will not be accepted.
  • The reports are valid for 2 years.
  • Expired reports are considered invalid.
