Recognized bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
Notarized Chinese or English transcripts of the Bachelor’s degree, and Master’s degree (if applicable) are required. The transcripts must: Be officially issued and sealed by the Academic Affairs Office, Graduate School, or Student Management Department of the attending university Clearly show all courses taken, grades received, and academic performance
Applicants must submit proof of English language proficiency meeting at least one of the following minimum requirements: TOEFL: 80 or above IELTS: 6.0 or above Duolingo English Test: 115 or above The language certificate must be officially recognized and valid at the time of application.
Curriculum Vitae (CV)
A detailed CV that comprehensively outlines the applicant’s educational and practical experiences from junior high school up to the date of application submission. The CV must present a continuous timeline, with no gaps exceeding six (6) months. Any periods of study breaks, employment, or other activities should be clearly explained.
Exam
University entrance examination newly implemented in China for international students.
Foreigner Physical Examination Form
A completed Foreigner Physical Examination Form issued by an authorized medical institution. Please note that the form will be considered invalid if it is incomplete or missing: The attending physician’s signature The hospital’s official stamp The applicant’s photo or official seal The physical examination results are valid for six (6) months from the date of issue.
A recent bank statement demonstrating sufficient financial capacity to support tuition fees and living expenses during the study period. The minimum required amount is CNY 30,000 or equivalent in foreign currency. The statement must be officially issued and clearly show the account holder’s name and balance.
Supporting documents that demonstrate the applicant’s exceptional performance in academics, sports, the arts, cultural exchange activities, public welfare, or related fields. Examples include certificates, awards, competition results, publications, or participation records. Applicants applying to design-related majors must additionally submit at least two original artworks.
A recent photograph of the applicant, suitable for identification and administrative use.
Applicants may be required to attend an online or in-person interview as part of the evaluation process.
Applicants should be between 18-35 years old
Shared accommodation options are available in triple or quadruple room formats for students seeking affordable on-campus living. Due to limited capacity, these rooms are allocated on a first-book, first-served basis. Accommodation fees and utility charges will be finalized according to the official rates announced by the university at the time of dormitory application.
Non-Criminal Record Certificate
An official Non-Criminal Record Certificate issued by the local police authority, confirming that the applicant has no criminal history. This document is mandatory for admission and residence procedures.
Passport
A clear scanned copy of the passport homepage showing the applicant’s personal information, passport number, nationality, date of birth, and validity period. The passport must be valid and clearly legible, as it will be used for identity verification and admission procedures.
Study Plan
A detailed study plan of no less than 1,000 words, clearly explaining the applicant’s: Research background Research methods Proposed research content Academic significance and objectives This document plays a key role in evaluating the applicant’s academic preparedness and research potential.
Recommendation Letters
Two letters of recommendation written in Chinese or English by professors or associate professors from the applicant’s current or previous university. The letters should evaluate the applicant’s academic ability and potential.
Application Fee Payment Receipt
A screenshot or digital copy of the application fee payment receipt confirming successful payment.
Renting accommodation outside the campus is allowed. Students may choose off-campus housing in accordance with university regulations.
