Admission Requirements

  • Academic Requirements:

  • For admission to a doctoral program, applicants must hold a Master’s degree or its equivalent and be under the age of 40 at the time of application.
  • Documentation Requirements:
  • Graduates-to-be are required to provide a pre-graduation certificate issued by their universities to demonstrate that they will successfully graduate and obtain their graduation certificate before August of the same year of admission.
  • Language Proficiency Requirements:
  • For applicants to a Chinese language teaching major, proficiency in Chinese is required. Specifically, applicants must have passed the HSK (Level 4) with a score of 180 points or above when applying for a Chinese-taught program.
  • Applicants who have obtained a Chinese-taught degree from Chinese universities are not required to provide an HSK certificate.
