Core Curriculum
- Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid foreign passport, generally aged 18-25, physically and mentally healthy, and meet the nationality rules of Ministry of Education Document No. 12 (2020). You must have completed high school; applicants not yet graduated submit a pre-graduation certificate and must obtain the diploma before registration. Chinese-taught programmes require HSK 4 or proof of equivalent Chinese ability (Chinese Language & Literature (Business Chinese) needs no Chinese). English-taught programmes (Radio & TV Directing, International Journalism & Communication) require IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 80 or Duolingo 90, or proof of previous study in English; native English speakers are exempt. Arts majors (including all CUZ Huace School of Film majors) must also submit works. Admission is competitive, based on a comprehensive review of the documents.
