Dalian Medical University is a public medical university in Dalian, Liaoning Province, north-eastern China. It was founded on 4 May 1947 as Guandong Medical College with an initial intake of 203 students, making it the oldest formal medical college in north-east China and older than the People's Republic itself. The institution merged into Dalian University in 1949, became independent as Dalian Medical College in 1950, was relocated to Zunyi in Guizhou Province in 1969 as Zunyi Medical College, ...
