On-Campus Housing Options

On-campus housing is organised through a residential college system introduced in June 2018, made up of nine residential colleges spread across the north, west and east districts of the campus and housing over 30,000 students. Each residential college provides shared reading rooms, common kitchens, laundry rooms, gymnasiums and lecture halls. International students are offered rooms in a range of configurations, quoted by the university per academic year: single rooms at CNY 13,440, two-bed rooms at CNY 6,720, four-bed rooms at CNY 3,360 and six-bed rooms at CNY 2,000, plus a CNY 200 deposit. Foreign faculty and some international guests are housed in Peter Hall, a three-wing building with furnished single and family apartments, laundry rooms, meeting rooms, a rooftop tea room, a game room and a Western-style cafe.
