Applicants must submit the official certificate(s) of their highest completed degree. Graduating students who have not yet received their final diploma are required to provide a pre-graduation certificate or an official student status certificate issued by their current university. Such applicants must submit the original or notarized copy of the final degree certificate(s) no later than the time of registration.
Notarized Chinese or English transcripts of the Bachelor’s degree, and Master’s degree (if applicable) are required. The transcripts must: Be officially issued and sealed by the Academic Affairs Office, Graduate School, or Student Management Department of the attending university Clearly show all courses taken, grades received, and academic performance
The official certificate of the highest academic degree completed by the applicant. This document must be issued by the awarding institution and clearly indicate the degree obtained and the date of graduation.
Proof of Chinese or English language proficiency, depending on the language of instruction of the program. Accepted certificates include: Chinese (HSK) IELTS TOEFL Duolingo PTE Certificates must be officially recognized and valid at the time of application.
Application Form
Applicants must complete and submit the official application form accurately and truthfully. All personal, academic, and contact information provided must be consistent with the supporting documents uploaded.
Recommendation Letters
Two letters of recommendation written by full professors or associate professors in the relevant academic field. Each letter must include the professor’s signature, contact phone number, and email address.
Foreigner Physical Examination Form
A completed Foreigner Physical Examination Form issued by an authorized medical institution. Please note that the form will be considered invalid if it is incomplete or missing: The attending physician’s signature The hospital’s official stamp The applicant’s photo or official seal The physical examination results are valid for six (6) months from the date of issue.
Renting accommodation outside the dormitory is not allowed.
Applicants may be required to attend an online or in-person interview as part of the evaluation process.

Applicants are required to submit an Academic Resume that clearly and concisely presents their academic background and qualifications. The resume should include, but is not limited to, the following information: basic personal information, educational background, research interests, research experience, academic or professional achievements, awards and honors, and any other relevant academic activities. This document is used to evaluate the applicant’s academic preparation and research potential.
Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications offers on-campus accommodation with different room options to suit students’ preferences and budgets. The double room is available at RMB 5,000 per year (approximately RMB 417 per month) and provides a shared living environment for two students. The single room, priced at RMB 10,000 per year (around RMB 833 per month), offers a private and more comfortable accommodation option. A recent passport-sized photo, preferably with a white or plain background.
Non-Criminal Record Certificate
An official Non-Criminal Record Certificate issued by the local police authority, confirming that the applicant has no criminal history. This document is mandatory for admission and residence procedures.
Passport
A clear scanned copy of the passport homepage showing the applicant’s personal information, passport number, nationality, date of birth, and validity period. The passport must be valid and clearly legible, as it will be used for identity verification and admission procedures.
Research Plan
Applicants are required to submit a research plan of no less than 1,000 words. The research plan should clearly and systematically present the proposed research and normally include, but is not limited to, the following components: the research topic, research background and introduction, literature review, research objectives, research methodology, feasibility analysis, and expected outcomes or academic significance. This document is used to evaluate the applicant’s research ability, academic preparation, and suitability for the program.
Applicants who have previously studied or worked in China are required to submit a study certificate or work certificate issued by the relevant institution or employer, confirming the period and nature of their study or employment in China.
