- Chinese language (and skills-training) students must hold a foreign nationality and a valid ordinary foreign passport, be in good health, and have no criminal record and no history of drug use; the usual age range is 18 to 30. No HSK level is required. The Chinese language programme lasts one year, is taught in Chinese and English, and covers comprehensive Chinese, listening and speaking, and reading and writing; entry is in March or September.
