- 1. Nationality Requirements
- (1) Non-Chinese citizens, physically and mentally healthy (without color blindness or color weakness).
- (2) Those whose parents (one or both) are Chinese citizens and have settled in a foreign country, who have foreign nationality at the time of their birth, and who immigrate from the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan to foreign countries, as applicants for studying in China, must hold valid foreign passports or international certification documents for at least 4 years, and there is a record of actual residence abroad for at least 2 years in the past 4 years (as of April 30th of the enrollment year).
- 2. Age and Education Requirements
- Applicants for a master's degree should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications, excellent academic performance, and generally not older than 35 years old.
- 3. Language Requirements
- For degree programs taught in English, non-native English speakers must provide proof of English proficiency, such as an IELTS (Academic) score of no less than 6.0 overall with no band below 5.0, or a TOEFL (Internet-based test) score of no less than 70 overall with no section below 15, or other equivalent test results. Native English speakers or those whose entire previous degree was conducted entirely in English may be exempt from submitting English test scores but must provide official documentation from their prior institution confirming the medium of instruction or their English grades.
