- Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid foreign passport, generally aged 18-35, physically and mentally healthy, and meet the nationality rules of Ministry of Education Document No. 12 (2020). A bachelor's degree is required; applicants not yet graduated submit a pre-graduation certificate and must obtain the diploma before registration. HSK 4 or proof of equivalent Chinese ability is required; International Chinese Language Education requires HSK 5 or previous study taught in Chinese at undergraduate or high-school level. Admission is competitive, based on a comprehensive review of the documents.
