Jiaxing University is a full-time public university in Jiaxing, Zhejiang Province, approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. Its roots reach back to 1914, when the earliest of its predecessor schools was founded; the modern institution was formed by merger in 2000 and adopted its present Chinese name, Jiaxing University, in November 2023.
