Admission Requirements

If the applicant has acquired foreign citizenship automatically at the time of birth in a foreign country, whose parents are both Chinese citizens, or one of the parents is a Chinese citizen, applicants must hold a valid foreign passport (or Certificate of Nationality) for at least 4 years, and must have actually resided in a foreign country for at least 2 years in the past 4 years (as of April 30, 2025) .9 months of residence in a foreign country may count as a full year. The dates of the entry and exit stamps in the passport will be followed in the determination of the actual length of foreign residence).
Residents of Mainland China,Hong Kong,Macao,and Taiwan who have emigrated to a foreign country and obtained foreign nationalty should also meet the above requirement.
Whether the applicant has foreign nationality and the nationality of the People's Republic of China shalbe subject to the nationality determination conclusion of the exit and entry administration department of the Chinese public security organ.Those who are identified as having the nationality of the People's Republic of China after application, admission or enrollment will be disqualified from application,admission or study.
