- For the 5-year Clinical Medicine (English-medium), applicants must have successfully completed basic science courses at university level and may graduate earlier subject to further review and approval by our Undergraduate Education Office.
- For non-native English-speaking applicants for the English-medium program: TOEFL (a minimum overall score of 80), or IELTS Academic (a minimum overall score of 6.0), or a medium-of-instruction certificate from the previous school/university, or equivalent. Exemptions can be granted to applicants who have graduated in English-speaking countries.
- Do not bring family members to live with you in Shantou while you are studying at SUMC.
