Programme principal
- For Dance Performance programs (including concentrations in Chinese Classical Dance, Chinese Ethnic and Folk Dance, Ballet, Modern Dance, and Ballroom Dance), applicants must hold a secondary school diploma or equivalent and a certificate of new HSK Level 4.
- For Choreography, Dance Studies, Drama Film and Television Art Design, and Art Management, applicants must hold a secondary school diploma or equivalent and a certificate of new HSK Level 5.
- Candidates must be non-Chinese citizens with valid passports.
- Candidates must demonstrate good behavior, abide by the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China, and have no criminal record.
- Applicants' health conditions must meet the requirements set by BDA, and applicants must be under the age of 40.
- According to Document No. 12 (2020) and Document No. 83 (2009) issued by the Ministry of Education of China, applicants who have foreign nationality and are non-Chinese citizens, as well as those with one or both parents who are Chinese citizens but reside abroad, must meet the following additional requirements when applying for undergraduate programs as international students:
- • Applicants must possess a valid foreign passport or Certificate of Nationality for at least 4 years.
- • Applicants must have a record of actual residence in foreign countries for at least 2 years within the last 4 years (up to April 30th in the first year of study).
- • Living in foreign countries outside China for 9 months or more within one year can be considered as one year, based on entry-exit records and passport stamps.
- Applicants who were citizens of mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan and who have migrated to foreign countries to obtain foreign nationality must also meet the same requirements.
