Programme principal
- Applicants whose parents, or one of their parents, are Chinese must hold a valid non-Chinese passport or Certificate of Nationality for no less than 4 years. Additionally, applicants must submit records of living outside of China for more than 2 years in the last 4 years (up to April 30 of the year of enrolment). Note that 9 months of living abroad within a year can be counted as 1 year, subject to entry and exit stamps.
- Applicants must be between 18 to 30 years old on the date of enrolment.
- Applicants must meet the health requirements issued by the Chinese Ministry of Education and the Chinese Ministry of Health.
- For applicants from certain countries who are required to serve in the military, it is recommended to complete military duty before applying.
- Applicants with a history of expulsion will have their applications refused.
- Applicants with criminal or prison records will not be accepted.
- The minimum score for the TOEFL is 85, and the minimum score for the IELTS is 6.5.
