  • You need a high-school diploma or equivalent, must be over 18 and not older than 25, of good conduct with a clean criminal record, and physically and mentally healthy. Applicants of Chinese origin must have held a foreign passport for at least 4 years and lived abroad at least 2 of the 4 years to 30 April 2026. Admission by application review needs a recommendation (from a Jinan overseas registration point, a Chinese embassy/consulate, an overseas Chinese organisation, or one teacher if self-recommended) and may waive the written test; alternatively you can sit the Jinan–Huaqiao joint entrance examination. English-taught majors at the International School require IELTS 5.5 (no band below 5.0), TOEFL iBT 80 or SAT 1030 for non-native English speakers; Chinese-taught majors require HSK 5 with 180 or above.
