- For applicants to a Chinese language teaching major, proficiency in Chinese is required. Specifically, applicants must have passed the HSK (Level 4) with a score of 180 points or above when applying for a Chinese-taught program.
- Applicants who have obtained a Chinese-taught degree from Chinese universities are not required to provide an HSK certificate.
