- Applicants must hold a non-Chinese passport for at least four years and have lived in a foreign country for over two years.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
- Applicants must meet the health requirements set by the Chinese Ministry of Education and the Chinese Ministry of Health.
- It is recommended that applicants who are required by their home country to perform national military service complete their service before applying.
- Applications will be denied for any student who has been expelled from a school in the past.
- Applicants with a criminal or prison record will not be accepted.
- Students must provide certification of New HSK level 5 or HSK level 6.
- Students under the age of 18 cannot apply.
